The Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) Limited celebrated its 75th anniversary with a gala at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, represented by Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, congratulated NBC and commended the Coca-Cola system for its sustained investment in Nigeria. In his remarks, Akume highlighted the company's journey since its founding in Lagos and expressed optimism for increased investment, job creation, and local production in the future. Coca-Cola HBC Chairman Anastassis David reflected on the company's origins, noting that in 1951 Anastasios Leventis negotiated the rights for the whole of Nigeria.
