The Main Organising Committee (MOC) for the National Grassroots Sports Development Summit 2026 met last week to discuss preparations, coordination, and strategies for the event. Chaired by Hon. Adeyinka Anthony Adeboye, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, the meeting focused on ensuring a successful summit scheduled for November 18 and 19, 2026, at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja. The summit, themed 'Creating a New Pathway for Sustainable Grassroots Sports Development,' aims to provide a platform for stakeholders to examine the future of grassroots sports in Nigeria. Adeboye emphasized that the summit must produce practical ideas, partnerships, and recommendations beyond speeches and ceremonial engagements.
