Kano Pillars moved to third place with seven points and a game in hand, while Barau FC are second with eight points after a goalless draw at Ikorodu City. Enyimba, Sporting Lagos, and Kun Khalifat all suffered home defeats, with Enyimba losing their third straight game to Inter Lagos and sitting rock bottom. Abia Warriors won 2-0 at Sporting Lagos, and Kun Khalifat lost 4-2 to defending champions Enugu Rangers.
