Hosts Ikeja Golf Club won the 2026 Interclub Matchplay Tournament, defeating Abeokuta Golf Club by 43 1/2 points to 21 1/2. The two-day event began on Friday, September 18, and ended on Sunday at the Ikeja Golf Club course. Organizers stated the tournament aims to foster unity and bonding between the two clubs. Ikeja Golf Club Captain Segun Odunuga thanked members of both clubs for sustaining their friendship, and Abeokuta Golf Club Captain Umar also spoke at the event.
