The presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, and his party have filed a suit against the Abia State Government, Governor Alex Otti, the Abia State Attorney-General, and the State House of Assembly. The suit challenges the alleged unlawful imposition of a N200 million mandatory campaign fee on presidential candidates wishing to display campaign materials in Abia State.
