Governors from Nigeria's North-West region are set to showcase investment opportunities at a side event during the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York. Led by Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, who chairs the North-West Governors' Forum, the governors will present the region's development agenda to international partners, investors, and financial institutions. The event, themed 'From Fragility to Opportunity: Locally Led Pathways to Peace, Resilience and Investment in Fragile Contexts,' will feature the North-West Peace, Security and Development Framework 2026–2030. The framework aims to promote peace, security, resilience, and economic development across the seven states.
