Lagos State and the State of California in the United States have signed a historic sister-state agreement to collaborate in various fields, including economy, entertainment, and culture. The agreement was signed in Sacramento by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Assemblyman Matt Haney. The ceremony was witnessed by Lagos State House of Assembly members and California Assembly member Isaac Bryan, who co-authored the resolution enabling the partnership. The deal aims to foster strong ties between the two sub-national entities.
