The Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, has presented Group Life Assurance cheques totalling N74,424,762 to 143 next of kin of fallen police officers. Sanusi stated that the gesture is part of the Nigeria Police Force's commitment to the welfare of personnel and families of officers who died in service, under the leadership of Inspector-General of Police IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu. He conveyed condolences to the families and acknowledged the sacrifices of the deceased. He also reassured the beneficiaries of the force's continued support, stressing that the sacrifices of the fallen officers will never be forgotten.
