The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command arrested approximately 300 suspects during raids on crime flashpoints, shanties, and uncompleted buildings across the territory. The operation, conducted on Saturday, September 19, 2026, also led to the recovery of suspected illicit drugs, knives, Indian hemp, and toy guns. Commissioner of Police Ahmed Mohammed Sanusi disclosed this while parading the suspects, stating that the operation was part of efforts to prevent crime and enhance safety. The suspects are undergoing screening and profiling, and those found culpable will be prosecuted.
