A Chief Magistrate’s Court in Ado-Ekiti arraigned 27-year-old Michael Olanipekun for allegedly sexually harassing two women in the state capital. The prosecutor, ASP Akinwale Oriyomi, told the court that the defendant sexually harassed Imole Oyebanji on September 12, 2026, and Blessing Precious in August 2026. Olanipekun was also accused of conducting himself in a manner likely to cause a breach of the peace between January and September 2026. The offences contravene Sections 270(1) and 181(d) of the Criminal Law of Ekiti State, 2021. The Chief Magistrate, Mr Abayomi Adeosun, granted the defendant bail after his counsel, O.G. Abiola, assured the court he would not abscond.
