The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has arrested a 49-year-old man, Godwin Emeka, accused of posing as a deputy superintendent of police with a forged identification card to move illicit drugs across state lines. He was stopped on Wednesday, September 16, on the Benin-Onitsha Expressway in Asaba, Delta State. Operatives allegedly found 292.48 kilogrammes of skunk, a potent strain of cannabis, inside his silver Toyota Sienna bus. A 39-year-old accomplice was also arrested during the operation, according to the NDLEA.
