The National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) has repatriated 50,000 Nigerian refugees in the last three years. The commission also restated its commitment to managing over 6.7 million displaced persons in the country. Federal Commissioner Aliyu Ahmed disclosed this at an event marking his three years in office in Abuja. He noted that the commission has been taking care of displaced individuals in camps and host communities, as well as refugees from other nations.
