At least nine people were killed in fresh attacks in Barkin Ladi, Riyom, and neighboring communities in Plateau State between Saturday night and Sunday morning. Five victims were passengers traveling to Gana-Ropp in Barkin Ladi, while two others, including a pastor, were killed on their way to church in Dorowa Babuje. A woman was killed in Baten Wereng, Riyom LGA, and another person in Ratyidi, Fan District. Several cattle were also killed or stolen. Governor Caleb Mutfwang vowed to protect the people.
