The names of 37 suspected illegal miners who died in the custody of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Niger State have been released. The NSCDC has arrested and paraded 24 personnel, including the Niger State Commandant, Subaru Siyaka Aniviye, in connection with the deaths. The list includes Ibrahim Sani, Fahad Sa'adu, Abdulsalam Ismail, and Usman Aliyu, among others.
