Not All 37 Who Died In NSCDC Custody Were Artisanal Miners – Bago

Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has said preliminary findings show that not all 37 people who died in NSCDC custody in Minna were artisanal miners. He spoke at a three-day Fida'a prayer held at Tunga Central Mosque in Minna for the victims. Bago said some individuals were already in detention cells before the miners were brought in, and that investigation would unravel the details. He assured families of the deceased of justice.
