The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) and Indonesia have opened talks on oil investments. Nigeria currently produces about 1.6 million to 1.7 million barrels per day, while Indonesia produces about 600,000 barrels per day and is also seeking to increase output. The discussions are part of efforts to boost investment in Nigeria's oil sector.
