The 2026 Lakowe Lakes Golf Classic will take place from September 28 to 30 at the Lakowe Lakes Golf Course in Lagos. The opening phase, known as the Nigeria Closed, will feature leading Nigerian professionals competing over three days, with support from Oando Plc. Former Lakowe winner Francis Epe headlines the field, which also includes Gift Willy, Kamalu Bako, Mohammed Muazu, and Tajudeen Ajayi. The tournament will also feature female professionals such as Bola Mustapha and Rachael Danjuma, as well as senior players like Kingsley Oparakwu, Stanley Omenuko, Liman Mohammad, and Lateef Lasisi. The Nigeria Closed will be played over 56 holes with a ₦30 million prize purse.
