The mutilated corpse of an abducted young woman was found in a stream in Ogoda community, Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State. She was abducted from Ahoada Minta in Ahoada East Local Government Area on September 12. A rescue mission led by the chairman of Ahoada West, Eugene Epelle, along with security operatives, recovered the body. The Traditional Ruler of Ogoda Community, Chief Obutu Tom, reported the matter to the police after receiving information while in Port Harcourt.
