The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has suspended additional officials in connection with the death of miners in custody. The agency stated that it does not condone unprofessional conduct, high-handedness or any action that undermines the fundamental rights of citizens or the trust reposed in it. The suspensions follow the earlier death of miners while in NSCDC custody.
