Kenya: Rooted in Service, Committed to Conservation

Personnel from the Kenya Army Corps of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers (KACEME), in partnership with the Green of Africa Foundation, planted more than 20,000 trees in Mutathia, Limuru. The exercise is part of ongoing efforts to promote environmental restoration and sustainable management of natural resources. KDF commanders emphasized that environmental conservation is both a national responsibility and a collective duty. They encouraged service personnel and community members to embrace tree growing and other conservation practices.
