Troops have rescued 23 hostages and arrested four suspected terrorists in Sokoto State offensives. Giving details of the operations, Danja said troops responded to a distress call about a terrorist attack in Sabon Gari, Wurno Local Government Area of Sokoto. The attackers invaded the community shooting sporadically, forcing residents to flee.
