APC PCC​: Obi Has Nowhere to Hide Over His Poor Anambra Record

The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council stated that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress, has no place to hide following disclosures by the Anambra State Government. APC PCC spokesman Dele Alake said in a Monday statement that Obi and his supporters had spent four years presenting his tenure as Anambra governor as one marked by exceptional fiscal prudence, including the claim that he left the state without a debt burden. Alake said the Anambra State Government's response to Obi's challenge to verify his record had deconstructed his public image. The council urged Obi to withdraw from the presidential race.
