American rare-earth stocks are climbing after Trump's Greenland deal

US-based rare-earth mining stocks climbed on Monday, led by Critical Metals, which surged as much as 43% intraday. The rally followed President Trump's announcement on Friday that the US had reached an agreement with Denmark granting it permanent security control over Greenland. The deal is expected to be signed next week. Other companies that saw gains included USA Rare Earth, MP Materials, TMC The Metals Company, and Ramaco Resources.
