37 miners’ deaths: Obi’s media office attacks Alake

The Peter Obi Media Office has criticized the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, for engaging in political exchanges with the former Anambra State governor instead of focusing on the deaths of 37 suspected illegal miners in NSCDC custody in Niger State. The media office accused Alake of using Obi's record in Anambra State as a political distraction. The Federal Government has set up a 10-member independent committee to investigate the arrests, detention, and circumstances surrounding the deaths.
