The Federal High Court in Abuja has granted former Minister of Science and Technology Chief Uche Nnaji permission to travel abroad for medical treatment. Justice Joyce Abdulmalik directed the release of Nnaji's international passport, which he had surrendered as part of his bail conditions. The ruling followed an application filed by his legal team led by Mr. James Onoja, SAN. The court ordered the defendant to return the passport before October 26, when his trial on a six-count certificate forgery charge preferred by the ICPC is scheduled to resume.
