Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike has dismissed claims by supporters of Labour Party's 2023 presidential candidate Peter Obi that their principal won Rivers State in the election, describing the assertion as a product of imagination. Speaking on TVC's Journalists' Hangout on Monday, Wike questioned who the Independent National Electoral Commission declared as the winner and noted that the claim fell short when tested at the election petition tribunal. He said the Obidients' claim of victory was a matter for social media and not the ballot.
