A Moroccan boy travelled from Spain's north African exclave of Ceuta to the mainland hidden under a visiting football team's bus on Monday, according to club sources. The Real Valladolid players discovered the child hidden by the coach's wheel axle when the bus pulled over at a service station. The team had crossed the Strait of Gibraltar by ferry after drawing 1-1 in a second-division match against Ceuta. The boy had remained hidden throughout the ferry crossing and for over 100 kilometres by road before being found.
