Sheikh Ibrahim bin Adel Hamza Al-Madani, the muezzin of the Makkah Grand Mosque, Masjid Al Haram, has died after reportedly delivering his final Adhan on Monday. His death was announced by Inside the Haramain in a post on X, which noted that he raised his final call to prayer at Masjid Al-Haram on 11 Rabi Al-Awwal 1448 AH. The funeral prayer for the late muezzin was scheduled to be held after the Asr prayer on Monday at Masjid Al-Haram, and he was to be buried at Al-Mu'alla Cemetery in Makkah. Al-Madani was formally appointed as a muezzin of Masjid Al-Haram in 1439 AH.
