The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has terminated the appointment of a staff member for extorting unsuspecting candidates. The board disclosed the sanction in its release bulletin on Monday, stating that the action was part of renewed efforts to rid the admission and examination processes of fraud and misconduct. JAMB warned its employees against exploiting candidates or members of the public, stressing that any staff member found engaging in conduct capable of undermining its operations would face sanctions in accordance with established rules.
