Paramount Skydance has settled an antitrust lawsuit brought by 12 states, clearing the last major hurdle to closing its $110 billion merger with Warner Bros. Discovery. California Attorney General Rob Bonta announced the settlement on Monday. As part of the agreement, Paramount agreed to release 30 movies in each of the next two years, followed by 32 movies in each of the next three years. The company also pledged to increase domestic production if California or New York passes an uncapped state film tax incentive, and to establish a board.
