The Ghana Company 5 (GHANCOY 5) ESSMGB has donated medical items to the Guinea-Bissau Military Hospital as part of its Civil-Military-Cooperation activities. The donation was intended to sustain goodwill between the contingent and the local population and to reaffirm the importance of partnership in promoting peace, security and economic stability. The Director of the hospital, Colonel Ramalho Cunda, expressed appreciation for the gesture and noted that the hospital offers virtually free healthcare as many patients cannot pay for outpatient services. The donated items included antibiotics, hypertension and diabetes medication, and non-medical consumables.
