A Dutch firm, Energy Ventures B.V, has commenced a project in Rivers State to convert about 5 million standard cubic feet of flared gas into electricity and cooking gas. The project aims to utilize flare gas for power generation and domestic use. This initiative is expected to contribute to energy supply in the region. The company has started operations in the state.
