Paramount Skydance CEO David Ellison informed employees that the company has settled lawsuits that were blocking its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery. In a Monday memo obtained by Business Insider, Ellison stated that Paramount now has complete clearance for the merger and can move toward closing. He added that the company is tentatively planning to complete the $110 billion acquisition in approximately two weeks. The deal would create a major Hollywood entity owning Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros. studio, CBS, HBO, HBO Max, Paramount+, and Pluto TV.
