Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita highlighted the convergence between Morocco and Liberia on the Women, Peace and Security Agenda at a high-level UN meeting in New York. The meeting was chaired by Liberian President Joseph Boakai on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly. Bourita commended Liberia's efforts, particularly the Women of Liberia Mass Action for Peace movement. He emphasized that women's role in peace is defined by their ability to prevent conflict and mediate, not by vulnerability.
