The All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated its four victorious candidates in the five legislative by-elections conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The victorious candidates are Hon. Kallamu Usman MaiJama'a of Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency, Gombe State; Hon. Husseini Datti of Dawakin Kudu State Constituency, Kano State; Hon. Okolosi Ator of Udu State Constituency, Delta State; and Hon. Yakubu Ali of Disina State Constituency, Bauchi State. In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC said the victory is a solid demonstration of the party's organisational strength, grassroots support, and the confidence reposed in it by the electorate. The party added that the results demonstrate its wide acceptance ahead of the 2027 general elections and strengthen its resolve to work for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and all its candidates.
