Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima has received a comprehensive brief on Nigeria's participation in the 81st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York. Minister of Foreign Affairs Amb. Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu and Nigeria's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Amb. Jimoh Ibrahim briefed the Vice President on key priority areas and expectations. Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications, said Nigeria will build on its previous advocacy for reform of the global body's contributions to third world countries. The Vice President will present President Bola Tinubu's message at the forums.
