LASHMA-AID saves 110 lives in six months — Zamba

The Lagos State Health Management Agency Assistance-In-Distress programme, LASHMA-AID, has saved 110 lives in six months, according to Permanent Secretary Dr Emmanuella Zamba. Since its commencement in March 2026, the programme has attended to 132 emergency cases, with 22 deaths recorded due to the severity of injuries. Among the beneficiaries, 23 were ILERA EKO enrollees, three were EKOSHA enrollees, and 106 were vulnerable residents whose medical bills were covered by the agency.
