Xbox is planning to lay off hundreds of employees this week, marking its second major staff reduction this year. The Microsoft-owned company also intends to consolidate several of its game studios. The layoffs and consolidation were confirmed by a person briefed on the plans. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma had previously addressed staff in July.
