Abuja school gets uniforms, learning materials

The Rotaract Club of Lugbe Federal Housing Authority, Abuja, has donated school uniforms, sandals, socks and learning materials to pupils of the Local Education Authority Primary School, FHA. The initiative, which also included a quiz competition for pupils from different classes, was organised as part of the club's activities to promote education and community development. President of the club, Terna Abraham, said the intervention was aimed at addressing some of the challenges faced by pupils and encouraging them to remain committed to their education. He said the club procured 50 school uniforms, 50 pairs of sandals and 50 pairs of socks, while school bags, dictionaries and writing materials were also provided.
