A clash between Fulani and Kambari inhabitants in Lafagu Village, Bagudo Local Government Area of Kebbi State, has resulted in the deaths of the village head, Alhaji Saidu Mujeli, and 14 others. According to Malam Idris Saidu, the eldest son of the late village head, the attackers, who are Kambari by tribe, attacked Lafagu and Buya communities at night on Sunday, killing fifteen people. The Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Muhammad Hadejia, confirmed the incident in an interview with BBC Hausa, stating that it occurred at night between the two ethnic groups. The police have not issued an official statement on the clash.
