Speaking on "The Peterman Pod" podcast, Su said promotions eventually stopped feeling like wins and that higher levels brought pressure that left him exhausted and under scrutiny. He said the thrill of promotion was no longer the same as when he was younger. Su added that accepting a career ceiling can lead to more enjoyable work.
