The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has deployed its Deep Blue assets and C4i system in a special enforcement operation code-named 'Blue-Green' to crack down on maritime violations in Lagos. The operation combined intelligence gathering, analysis, target development, and enforcement activities. A new specialised intelligence capability was deployed to improve identification and prioritisation of vessels of interest, providing real-time support to enforcement teams. NIMASA Director General Dr Dayo Mobereola said the agency would formalise the operation as a recurring intelligence-led enforcement model.
