Katsina State Governor Dr. Dikko Radda praised the Nigeria Military, Department of State Services, and vigilantes for foiling a mass kidnap attempt in Gidan Iyado, Kakumi Ward, Bakori Local Government Area. The intelligence-led operation on Monday resulted in the neutralization of 18 armed bandits and the recovery of arms and rustled livestock. The bandits were led by Alhaji Musa Duki, a former school headmaster turned bandit kingpin operating from Mununu Forest in Faskari LGA. Security forces recovered one G3 rifle, two AK-47 rifles, and 14 rounds of ammunition.
