The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) has cleared N18.96 billion in outstanding Back-End Computation pension arrears. The funds are owed to 3,958 eligible pensioners of the defunct Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) under the Defined Benefit Pension Scheme. This move aims to settle long-standing pension liabilities. The payment is part of PTAD's ongoing efforts to address pension arrears.
