The Big Tent Coalition, led by Prof. Pat Utomi, has criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for demanding that Peter Obi withdraw from the 2027 presidential race over a claim of $123.77 million external loans. In a statement by its Director of Media and Communications, Charles Odibo, the coalition described the demand as desperate and revealing, accusing the ruling party of resorting to falsehood, deflection, and character assassination when confronted with its record. The coalition also dismissed the allegations as spurious and unsubstantiated.
