End of era for South African property giant that built a ‘beach’ in Joburg and Pretoria

Balwin Properties, a South African real estate developer known for building large residential estates with artificial beaches in Johannesburg and Pretoria, has announced it will delist from the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) and become a private company. The company was founded 30 years ago and had been publicly listed for 11 years. The decision marks the end of an era for the property giant.
