Dr. Kelechi Anosike, the 2027 governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Abia State, has announced plans to establish a micro-finance bank and three industries annually if elected. He made the announcement during a consultation with members of the Old Bende Progressive Union. The bank, to be headquartered in Aba, will provide interest-free revolving loans to traders, artisans, and entrepreneurs. Anosike stated that this initiative is part of his broader Economic Welfare Policy aimed at improving the welfare of Abians.
