A test of online casinos in Germany found that five brands—CosmicSlot, WinSpirit, Boomzino, NV Casino and SpinBetter—do not appear on the official whitelist of the Joint Gambling Authority of the Länder, despite actively targeting German players with German-language sites, SEPA payments and German-language support. All five providers hold valid Curaçao licences, which oblige them to meet minimum standards for payouts and anti-money laundering prevention, but these do not fall under the German State Treaty on Gambling 2021. The report notes that this does not automatically mean fraud, but the protective mechanisms that apply in serious cases are not covered.
