Ededem Hogan, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for Akpabuyo/Bakassi/Calabar South Federal Constituency, has pledged to end absentee representation if elected in 2027. He made the pledge while addressing the Esop Ndito Efik Eburutu Abuja general meeting. Hogan said his priority would be ensuring constituents have access to their representative and that their concerns are presented at the National Assembly. He promised to establish constituency offices across the three areas.
