The Ministry of Health has launched a 10-day training in Ganta, Nimba County, to strengthen malaria surveillance and data-driven decision-making. The training, conducted from September 16 to 26 through the National Malaria Control Program, brings together County Health Team personnel, including County Health Officers, Malaria Focal Persons, Monitoring and Evaluation Officers, and Data Managers. It aims to equip health workers with skills to improve the collection, analysis, interpretation, and use of malaria data. The effort supports Liberia's National Malaria Strategic Plan 2026–2030, which targets reducing malaria-related deaths by at least 50 percent.
